Windsor, King Charles III's younger brother, has been arrested over suspected misconduct in public office after revelations in the Epstein files.

British police forces are working together to assess potential crimes revealed in documents from the U.S. Justice Department’s investigation into the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including allegations of wrongdoing by the former Prince Andrew.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and is in police custody. Thames Valley Police confirmed the arrest on Thursday following allegations made against the former prince after the release of millions of pages of files related to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

On Monday, the department said it had removed several thousand documents that inadvertently identified some of Epstein's victims. The Justice Department's No. 2 official, Todd Blanche, has said the material did not amount to evidence of criminal sexual activity by those named in the files.
