The APD 155th Cadet Class doesn’t just train with a TASER device; they experience it. TASER training is essential for police cadets to ensure they understand how to safely and effectively use a less-lethal force option. We’ve created national standards, guidance and training for officers carrying the new Taser 10 device. Our updated training includes de-escalation techniques and, for the first time, virtual reality exercises.
