Last Friday in Little Rock, an Arkansas state trooper performed a PIT maneuver on a vehicle that failed to pull over during a traffic stop. The trooper was unaware that the driver was rushing his son to the hospital for treatment. An ambulance was immediately called to assist the child and transport him to the local hospital. No one was injured in the PIT. After learning the full circumstances, all charges were dropped and the ASP agreed with the decision.
