Muscles of the Forearm

Did you know that our forearm bones are sometimes crossed? Our forearm consists of two bones; the ulnar and the radius. When we want to place our hand palm down, the radius actually rotates around the ulna. This movement is called pronation and is governed by the pronator teres and pronator quadratus muscles.
