Director Friz Freleng introduced an incredibly forgetful Big Bad Wolf character in his 1955 Tweety and Sylvester cartoon, "Red Riding Hoodwinked". Freleng brought the character back three years later to hunt Bugs Bunny (only to keep forgetting exactly what he's hunting) in "Hare-less Wolf" (1958).
